“They’ll hear us,” Sookie protested, pulling away from Eric’s mouth and locking the door.

“The feeling is mutual,” he said. Pam knocked again. “Give us another moment.” He helped Sookie get dressed. “Thank you for coming to see me tonight, even if it was for the wrong reason.” He smiled and handed her Amelia’s computer. “What are you going to do about Arlene?”

She shrugged. “I’ll confront her about it and maybe I’ll start writing my own stories. I’m sure some of those readers would love to hear about tonight.”

He grinned and then kissed her again, stealing her breath one last time before opening the door. Pam and Amelia waited out in the hall, looking a bit disheveled.

“Until next time,” Eric said, kissing Sookie’s hand before disappearing down the hall.

Sookie handed Amelia her computer with a laugh. “That didn’t go how I expected it to.” She laughed.

“Seems like it turned out better. It did for me anyway.” The witch grinned and broadcasted details of her make out session with Pam, but only said, “I’m going to see her again.”

“That’s great.”

“How about you and Eric?”

“I’m definitely seeing him again.”

“Maybe we could drive out together,” Amelia offered as they walked down the hall and headed for the exit.

“That sounds like a fabulous plan.”
