This story begins in chapter 4 of Dead Until Dark when Bill takes Sookie to Fangtasia for the first time … only my version takes a VERY different turn (bye bye canon!). When she tells Eric there’s going to be a raid, he rewards her by driving her home. She can’t stop thinking about him, despite how dangerous he is. And then he shows up and begs her to help him discover who’s been stealing from him. How can she say no? Especially when he promises to make it worthwhile. During the investigation, all hell breaks loose and Sookie gets caught in the middle of a fight to the death. Being in the wrong place at the wrong time means big changes for our favorite telepath.
GabbieAnnie and I brainstormed this last year, so I figured it was about time to get it out of my head.

It is a good starting point, in which Bill has not yet been able to poison the mind of Sookie with his mental diarrhea about Eric, but he will do it later (having the advantage of being her neighbor).

I can hardly wait for this story to start. How soon??? Oh and from what is being implied it looks like Sookie becomes a vampire from the start. I also wouldn’t mind if Godric is Eric’s maker and not Appius, three way is not needed but don’t want Godric meeting the sun either. At any rate can’t wait till it starts any hints on how soon, soon is.

Oh, stories that put Sookie and Eric together pretty early are awesome. Cannot wait to read this. Love it when Bill is moved aside for Eric which is what this sounds like.

Very much so. Bill gets unseated right away. I thought I’d take liberties with canon on that one since Bill kept saying over and over again that if she wanted to, she could go with Eric. Why not, right? 🙂 I hope you enjoy it!
