What’s that you say? It’s Thursday and you’re tired of waiting for Chapter 6? This spoiler is for you! Just a little something to tide you over.

“I hadn’t even thought of that.” Sookie frowned.
Eric ran his thumb across her forehead, smoothing it out. “You don’t need to worry about him. That’s what I’m here for.”
“How are you going to get home? I assume you don’t want Bill to know Eric is with you, right?” Pam asked.
Sookie nodded.
“But your car is at your house still,” Pam said.
“I hadn’t thought of that either.”
Pam snorted. “Not much of a plan is it?”
“I planned to fly us to her house,” Eric said, silencing Pam.

Eric landed in the heavily wooded area behind her house while Sookie searched for anyone else. “The coast is clear,” she said.
With that, they made their way to the back door and let themselves in. “Now what?” Sookie asked in a whisper.
“Now we wait.”

What? I said little… I’ll make it up to you tomorrow with more lemons. 🙂
She clicked her tongue. “Can I drive you instead? Please? I want to see the look on Bill’s face when you get him. You won’t even notice I’m there.”
“No. I want him to think she’s alone. No cars.” Eric shook his head. “Besides, you need to be here, since I can’t be.”
“Fine.” She crossed her arms over her chest. “Be that way.”
Oh the excitement is building 🙂 then it will be so sweet to see Bill go down.

Really, it could. You’re kind, but unfortunately, I’m way too old to be cute. Well-preserved, maybe? That beats frozen in time! LMAO!!! 🙂

NEVER too old for cute. I’m clinging to that for dear life. Well-preserved is a decent second, but cute still wins.
Oh! I have ANOTHER surgery scheduled for this year (later this month, actually). Cuz, you know, two isn’t enough…might as well get a third one in there. This time on my sinuses. I’m lucky like that. On the plus side, I might be able to breathe and not get sinus infections every month afterward, so I’m actually looking forward to that.

My goodness! You’re as bad as me! I had to fill out a form for SS & had to complete a section that asked for all of the surgeries & hospitalizations I’d had since October 2012. I had to attach an extra paper… I’ve been sick pretty much all week & this virus was accompanied by a terrible headache. I’m fine now (LOL!) yet the headache remains though it’s not nearly as bad. I think it’s sinuses – my swollen eyes tell the tale – and I’ve been putting off that same surgery for years! I’ve heard both great & horrible things about it; frankly any surgery has its horror stories and if it would stop the infections and improve the quality of life? Go for it!!! I have to wait for next year so I don’t use up all of our spending account! At least I’ll get rid of one of our deductibles right away, and since it’s November, I don’t have to wait too long!
So what part of the month will you be having the surgery? I hope you have it after Thanksgiving… It would suck to have to recover during the holiday and when the kids are home… On the other hand, someone would be with you during the day. Of course, all of us are “with you” always, and will be wishing & praying for your speedy recovery! How lovely it will be for you when you no longer have to suffer from those damn infections!! 🙂

Exactly! So much good and bad comes with every surgery. I begged my ENT to do the surgery the Friday before Thanksgiving so I would have a week ‘off’ to recover (no school for my littles during the whole week of Thanksgiving). Most of the recovery will be done over the weekend, and I’m hoping like hell I’ll be well enough to enjoy over eating. One of the reasons I’m so ready for this, not only for relief from infections, but also because my tastebuds haven’t worked right since my September sinus infection. That’s when this blockage came into play, so hopefully with it gone, I’ll be able to taste all the yummy food for Thanksgiving! It’s selfish, really. 🙂 We’re also close to meeting our outrageously high deductible, so I thought, why not take care of it right now while my insurance might actually cover some of it? 🙂 I’ll let you know how it goes so you can file it with the other horror/happy stories that are associated with sinus surgery.
I’m suffering from a swollen eye too, but that was because I smacked my eyeball with a raspberry cane yesterday while cleaning out the garden for winter. I need to wear protective gear or just stay in the house! I hope your eye/face pain gets better. I just found Aleve-D and it is awesome for sinus headaches/infections!!! Not sure if you already use it or if you can…but it’s like magic for me! It’s the little things in life that make us happy, isn’t it? LOL
